Need a dinner suggestion - quick. A nice place to celebrate a %26#39;big%26#39; birhday. Just the two of us. We are foodies and like a view, but don%26#39;t want a place that feels stuffy or, on the other end of the spectrum, feels like a loud free for all. Don%26#39;t mind driving a little bit away from Mystic. Would love to hear your suggestions.

No need to drive from Mystic - Bravo Bravo is the best restaurant in the area. This is where we go for a ';special treat'; to celebrate birthdays, promotions, our engagement. Entrees are in the $20-$25 range. It can be rather loud, but the food is worth it. Reserve a table by the windows to people watch; or better, one of the 2-3 window tables in the bar area, which are more intimate.
Noah%26#39;s on Water Street (the main street) in Stonington Borough would be second choice. The menu centers around simply prepared seafood (usually local), though I often tend to get the quiche of the day! The menu is very heavy on seafood, so if you don%26#39;t like fish, I would not recommend. Entrees are also in the $20-$25 range.
