What to do in Danbury?

The are a lot of quaint towns and beautiful scenery to the north of Danbury. If you have a car, I%26#39;d recommend a day%26#39;s drive up through the Litchfield hills, stopping in the towns to see the shops and galleries, taking walks or hikes in some of the state parks, visiting the lakes, etc. Drive up 7/202 via New Milford, New Preston %26amp; Litchfield and wander through some of the beautiful side roads.

I agree, litchfield county is beautiful. you may want to the The Cookhouse on Route 7 in New Milford (a fantastic BBQ and ribs restaurant). If you like mexican, try Panchos Gringos, also on Route 7, just a few miles before the cookhouse when soming up route 7.

You should also venture south - there is a quaint New England town called Ridgefield about 15 mins south of Danbury. You can take a very nice walk on the main street and do some shopping.
