Well, since you did no say when you are coming, what part of the state you%26#39;ll be staying in, if you have girls or boys, or what your interests are, I%26#39;ll just throw a few things your way.

Bridgeport Bluefish baseball game ($10.00 tickets)

Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk ($11.00 adult tickets)

Peabody Museum of Natural History in New Haven ($7.00 adult admission)

Lake Compounce Amusement Park in Bristol, CT ($25 Junior admission, $34 adult)

Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, CT ($21 Adult, $17 Kids)

Kent Falls State Park www.berkshirehiking.com/hikes/kent_falls.html

we r in washington state and so far it looks like rain out there. i have 4 boys. amusement parks are not open yet

Where will you be staying in CT and when?

Teenagers might enjoy the new basketball hall of fame in Springfield, MA: www.hoophall.com/visitor/bhof-tickets.html

Its nice and there are some good restaurants around it. Pizzeria Unos, Max%26#39;s Tavern, ect.

Lake Compounce is a very good option as the previous poster noted. I grew up going there.

The previous poster also mentioned minor league baseball. There are several teams in CT. Norwich has a team, New Britain has a team, and Bridgeport has a team. Those are always fun for everyone and cheap.

dinosaur state park in Rocky Hill is a good option http://www.dinosaurstatepark.org/

Also there is the Mark Twain house and Harriet Beecher Stowe house in Hartford.

Lots of good hiking in the state too

Since you say you have boys, they might enjoy Lime Rock where cars are raced. What time of year are you visiting CT again? I would think they would like the amusements parks as mentioned. You could also go up into Mass for Six Flags. I don%26#39;t think teenage boys would like any museums. Look for coupons or have your friends get some for the amusements parks. Sometimes Coke cans will have a special on the parks or grocery stores will have coupons.

Dunkin Donuts always has Six Flag coupons at the counter.

Misquamicut Beach, just over the line into RI. The state beach is excellent and fronts on Block Island Sound which is fairly open to the Atlantic and therefore has waves and such (unlike CT beaches which front on Long Island Sound). The Misquamicut area is full of summer-beach ';honky-tonk'; stuff that will keep kids occupied for hours.
