Campgrounds in Mystic, CT

Has anyone stayed at either Seaport Campground or Mystic KAO?

We are planning a camping trip there this summer and can%26#39;t decide which one to stay at. Also if there are any other campgrounds in the area that people know about that would be great.

I have been to Odetah and can recommend it. It is very pretty and it%26#39;s on a nice lake. It is about a 20 minute drive to Mystic. I am not sure where the other 2 are, but if they are downtown Mystic, I am not sure where they would fit !

Thanks for the reccemendation, that place looks really great, only problem is they require you to stay for a week if you%26#39;re going near a holiday!

I am curious about which campground you ended up staying at in Mystic. We are planning a trip for 3 days at the end of July and I am trying to find a nice campground and saw the two campgrounds you mentioned as well as Hidden Acres. Any recommendations or warnings about the campgrounds? We want the campground to be some what close to Foxwoods since we will be seeing a concert on Friday night. Any information about campgrounds in the area would be very helpful.

Strawberry Park in Preston, Seaport campground is ok, Rocky Neck state park is a great time, Charlestown Breachway.
