I would like to visit Foxwood Casino during a New England trip in early July. Are there any inexpensive hotels nearby the casino? The current rates that I%26#39;m getting for a checkin in on 7/11 are almost $300.

Try the North Stonington area, specifically the Bellisimo Grande. It%26#39;s the closest hotel to Foxwoods that isn%26#39;t on Foxwoods property. Rates are reasonable and the hotel is very nice.
Try hotwire - we just got the Hyatt Mystic for $125 and it includes breakfast, which was much cheaper then the going rate.
