Cedar Park Whirlpool Inn And Suites

I recently posted a message about an employee confronting us at the Cedar Park Whirlpool Inn and Suites regarding our dogs. They%26#39;ve now posted that we did not tell them that we brought our dogs with us. I really held no harsh feelings against the place and even gave them high marks for the room, location, etc in general. I even closed with %26#39;others may not have the same experience%26#39;; they%26#39;ve since posted that I never told them about my dogs. Well, I%26#39;m sorry, but that%26#39;s a lie. I told Holly we were bringing our dogs. They even told me that they had just recently started the pet deposit. The woman who checked us out: a dark haired woman with glasses was very nice and explained that the pet policy was brand new. She apologized for the problems we%26#39;d had with that one particular person, and I told her that I wasn%26#39;t so sure we were returning. I even told her about the person in our neighboring room coming in at 2:30 a.m. stomping and yelling, and yelling again outside our room, and I received an apology.

So, why they are posting that I never told them about my dogs being there is not comprehendible to me. I know this is not Trip Advisor%26#39;s problem, and I%26#39;m not going to post anything further about it. I just wanted to have my say.

They changed their response to my message. This is now what they have to say. Very little of which has to do with my bringing my dogs. I%26#39;m not saying it was right that my dogs were barking. My problem was with the way we were confronted.

Why would I mention the new limos, when that was not the issue? We%26#39;ve always loved the limos and thought %26#39;what a great idea!%26#39; The limos have always been very nice and spacious from what we could tell.

I still maintain, since they%26#39;ve posted that I did NOT tell them about my bringing my dogs (and tried to make me sound like a liar) that we will be finding some other place to go--along with others to whom we%26#39;ve recommended this hotel.

The Cedar Park Whirlpool Inn And Suites has nice rooms. VERY comfortable beds (love those Tempurpedic Foam mattresses); believe me, you can%26#39;t beat those beds for a good sound sleep. The location is great. I never disputed that. Thus I gave them high marks for all that. My problem was with one employee who confronted us so hatefully. I appreciate them taking the effort to remove that statement that I did not tell them about my dogs.

';We have specific rooms in a separate building that we allow pets as to not bother other guest. We have inplimented a policy not to have this promblem again. The guest forgot to mention that we have brand new 2006 Limos ( Lincoln 8 passenger limos) . In Dec. 2007 we replaced all linens in the hotel to 310 thread count sheets and white duvets and new pillows and 310 thread count pillow cases. We went with a top sheet instead of a bed spresd so we can wash the top sheet each day .Which if anybody knows nevers happens in other hotels.';

The promblem was that you left your dogs in the room alone barking keeping other people up and disturbing other guest. Our policy was that you could bring your pet , but you could not leave it in the room alone. Not fair to the pet or other guest. WE are running a hotel not a kennelto leave your pet while you go gambling. We have since stopped our pet policy

Didn%26#39;t have a problem before, and haven%26#39;t had a problem since at the places we%26#39;ve stayed.

I%26#39;ve always praised the hotel. It was just the one incident.

The hotel%26#39;s only problem with your pet was that you left them in the room alone. Which caused a noise problem with other guest and when a pet is left in the room alone in a emergency it is also a problem! We cannot run a kennel so guest have a place to leave there pets while they go out!! Pets are great ! we love them ! But our policy is that you have to stay with your pet at all times!
