Yantic River Inn

We spent the night at the Courtyard by Marriott in June and enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Yantic River Inn. When we travel we like to try restaurants that are popular with the';locals'; and this was a wonerful choice. It was a short drive (less than 5 minutes) from the Courtyard. Both food and service were excellent and we enjoyed seeing a graduation celebration going on in a private room!

I worked in Norwich for 6 years, right around the corner from the Yantic River Inn. You must be easily satisfied. The Yantic River Inn is just plain average. The only reason I might like to go there (but won%26#39;t) is that I%26#39;d feel young by comparison with all the seniors that like to frequent it. It%26#39;s certainly not worth a detour to the especially ugly area that surrounds it.

This place finally closed. It wasnt bad the first time i tried it but the last 2 times were awful. My steak tasted like it was cooked in a chef tony microwave bag......
