Came for an overnight a few weeks ago which was fine overall. The only thing was that everything seemed to close at 5:00 or 6:00, except some restaurants. I know it%26#39;s off season, but there were a lot of people around. Do things stay open later in the summertime?

Does anything stay open past 6:00PM?We were there in the summer, on a weekend night, and everything was open til about 9 as far as I can recall, with bars and such open later. The bridge even opened at about that time-lol. We enjoyed walking around the town and watching the boat traffic on the river. Probably was just the off season.
Most things close up between 5 and 7 for the winter season. The longer hours start around Memorial Day when shops stay open later for the tourist crowd. The Aquarium and the Seaport are the only possible exceptions to this.
