My husband and I are planning to visit in Stamford for 12 days on business so accessibility to the train and internet connection/comfortable desk %26amp; chair along with hotel value/comfort/nightlife will be a factor in determing where we end up. The short list is Courtyard Marriott or Hampton Inn. The traveler%26#39;s posts I have read seem to be outdated. Any helpful tips and suggestions? Thanks.
Hampton Inn or Courtyard Marriott?
Hampton Inn isn%26#39;t in the best of neighborhoods, and not that convenient to nightlife, etc... Courtyard Marriot is right downtown, near to lots of nightlife, shopping, the mall, restaurants, and easy access to the train.
Between the two, I would definitely choose the Marriott.

Definitely the Courtyard. Its in a great location and you cant beat their comfy beds! Its a brand new hotel. Thry the restaurant Napa %26amp; Co. YUM
You can walk all over downtown and to the train or take a short cab ride to the train as well.
Courtyard without a doubt. You can walk to everything.
I second the Napa %26amp; Co recommendation.
Probably too late, but yes Courtyard all the way. Close to train (they prob have a shuttle - check, but it%26#39;s kind of walk-able), walk to about 15 good restaurants, mall, shopping, offices, etc.
Courtyard is pretty new - we always have guests stay there. good beds, napa downstairs, good biz travel hotel.
Thank you all for taking the time to offer your helpful suggestions. I%26#39;d say the Marriott takes it all!
