Reasonable, Reliable car service to JFK (from Fairfield Cty.

I%26#39;m flying from JFK soon for a long trip and have decided not to park the car this time. There are millions of car services out there, but I only have experience with one corporate one, and their rates are very high.

Can anyone recommend one that has good rates and that will actually show up on time?

I looked into the same thing a while back and couldn%26#39;t find ANYTHING that would be cheaper than $300 R/T once you add in tax and tips. CT Limo and Primetime are the only affordable solutions, but its shared, and not very convenient.

We ended up just parking at the airport.. Was $115 for just over a week.

This is an area where you get no more than what you pay for but often much less. I%26#39;ve used many different services over the years with minor differences in price and major differences in service and unfortunately one

outright horror story that cured my bargain hunting forever.

I%26#39;ve now used Hoyt Livery exclusively for three years. I find their service consistently impeccable. In one instance in particular, they went way above and beyond what I would have expected.

We have also used Hoyt Livery for the past few trips. They have always been on time and courteous. As far as I can tell, their rates are competitive although it%26#39;s not cheap. For me, it%26#39;s worth it, though. They know alternate routes, and I%26#39;m happy to leave the driving to someone else. Hoyt also doesn%26#39;t charge extra for early morning or late evening pick-ups, as some services do.
