Suggestions for accomodations

We will be in New Haven in Sept to visit for three days.

My sister and I are bringing our 81 year old mother back to New Haven where she grew up. Its been at least 50 years since she has been back. We want to make this special in every way.

Please suggest a place to stay, things to do, and restaurants that shouldn%26#39;t be missed.

The Omni Hotel is the best place to stay and it is centrally located and walking distance to all the good restaurants. There are so many great restaurants in New Haven it just depends on the type of food you like. You name it the city has it.

I agree about the Omni. And the Union League Club was there when George Washington passed through New Haven. Your mother will remember it, although with a different name. It%26#39;s probably the fanciest restaurant in town. Have a lovely visit.
