Economy Inn of Norwich

Booked a sat night here with my boyfriend to stay and go to mohegan sun and foxwoods -- any advice is appreciated.

Never stayed there, but it is convenient to the casinos. One exit up from Mohegan Sun, and about 15 minutes away from Foxwoods. Right near a supermarket (Big Y) and Walmart, if you need anything. And in a decent section of Norwich, too.

My wife and I stayed there two weeks ago. This was until recently a Ramada Inn, and from what we understand will be transformed into a Holiday Inn some time in the future. We have stayed at the Ramada many times in the past. It is indeed very close to the Mohegan Sun Casino. There is a shuttle provided by the hotel on the weekends to the Casino if you wish to perhaps drink and not drive. A continental breakfast is complimentary to all guests and there is a decent warm indoor pool to relax in. The hotel staff is friendly and the area is indeed nice as mentioned. There is shopping close by and if you have a car more shopping south of the hotel. Try the Old Tymes Family Restraunt if you want to eat lots of food for a reasonable price--leftovers can be stored in your rooms fridge and reheated in the rooms microwave. You will have a good time there. Enjoy!!!

As of a few days ago it is now a Holiday Inn and looks like the renovations are done. We have not been inside but from the outside it looks as if they have done a nice job.
