Hi,
I am planning on a 2 week trip in 2007 to see the fall foliage and the rest that New England has to offer. I am not sure what weeks to plan or what states and places to go to. Also not sure what all we can cram into two weeks. I need to at least get a starting point so any and all help would be greatly appreciated. It will just be my husband and I. We are late 30%26#39;s and like to take pictures, hike, sightsee, and eat good food!
Thanks!
2 week Fall Foliage Trip, need help!Hi, Phew... I thought you were already back until I saw 2007. I actually started a travel blog about this very topic called www.thenewenglandcoast.com You can leave comments etc... I like to give tips on well known and not so well known places and have started doing reviews as well.
The foliage season varies a lot. It starts in September in northern New England. While NH, VT and Maine are very beautiful southern New England which has a peak season in late October has many more small towns with traditional colonial architecture closer together. I have some suggested routes and would be happy to make some other suggestions for you.
The terrain anywhere in NE is ideal for walking, hiking of various levels and more. Good food there is not any shortage of either.
Check out my site and I will be happy to see else I can tell you.
