Hi, me and my wife are planning to travel the new england states to catpure the fall colors and places in these states. Can anyone please recommend me some places to visit in CONNECTICUT that are a must see? The main reason for this trip is for photography, any help is appreciated. :)
We are traveling there from 10/5 to 10/15
Thank you so much
Jaime

You might try the CT Wine Trail in the Western Part of the state,

Look at Litchfield County - you will find some beautiful foliage and photography, and can head up into the Berkshires from there.

You%26#39;ll have to take out the spaces.
Litchfield County is wonderful in the fall. Everywhere you drive!
Also bear in mind that the colors appear later along the southeastern shoreline than anywhere else in the state. The Mystic River is spectacular in the autumn what with the historic houses, church steeples and tall ships of the Mystic Seaport Museum. We live in Stonington and it%26#39;s still almost completely green here except for sugar maples which turn early. I would say peak color on the shoreline is usually around the third week in October but we can have good color through Veteran%26#39;s Day if we don%26#39;t get a lot of wind.
Have fun!
I would suggest a trip up route 7 through Kent, CT, towards massachusetts and vermont.

See this article.
Hartland, Barkhamsted, Rt. 318 by the reservoir. Falls village (covered bridge or anywhere through Litchfield County.
There is a nice cluster of Vineyards there.
You can%26#39;t beat the wetern part of Ct for great photo opts. Litchfield, Ct, in particular but the leaves are just starting to change here. You will get the steel blue skies and beautiful sunshine at this time of year. You have love Litchfield County in the fall but if you continue up rte 7 in Mass and go to Lennox now that is lovely as well. New England in the fall is spectacular. we live here and each year it is more beautiful. Just avoid stayovers in Kent Ct. There are alot of other B %26amp; B%26#39;s in this state that are lovely.
Enjoy your travel!
Stay at the Longwood Country Inn in beautiful Woodbury and take short trips from there through Litchfield County.
