Hello everybody,

I got an intenship position in Trumbull from July to December and I%26#39;m looking for an appartment in New Naven. Can enybody suggest one (in a safe area, but with close access to the interstate and downtown)?

Why are you looking in New Haven if you are working in Trumbull? You will be half an hour away, and in the thick of commuter traffic - You are better off looking in Shelton, Trumbull, or Fairfield -

As you got an internship you must be young. You%26#39;ll love New Haven with all the restaurants and great bars. If you are young you don%26#39;t want to live in Trumbull unless you like the suburban mall life ;o). For the most part New Haven is pretty safe. Most young people like Yale Grad. students live in an area called East Rock with the main street being Organge Street that goes down to New Haven. The paralel street is Whitney Ave. Anywhere between these two streets would be ideal for you and easy access to the highway. Check out craigslist for apartments in that area for rent.

You may be able to get into t e Yale housing office which lists scores of rentals. Good luck.
