Kent

I have heard that Kent is fun to visit. Many little shops, park, and so on. I was wondering if anyone knows if this would be fun for a weekend trip and if so is there anywhere to stay (campground?). Thanks!

Hi!

Well, yes! You can go to this website and you%26#39;ll find what you are looking for about camping:

and:

There%26#39;s a nice covered bridge too!

Enjoy your visit.

Don%26#39;t stay at Fife N Drum. Horrible place. We didn%26#39;t see much of Kent but the whole area was beautiful. Just be sure to pick a different spot than Fife N Drum for your overnight stay. Visit Litchfieldhills.com for more information on the area. Good luck.

My posting on Fife N Drum should go live within a few days.

Kent has beautiful sceanery as you drive along route 7. I like to visit kent falls, a state park. I love to hike along the appalachian trail - you can pick it up in kent. Also there are a few nice bakeries and shops in town - but if you blink you miss it. It is more part of a drive or day trip kind of place. Housatonic medows is one of the places to camp, but I stay on the trail and walk into town.

Kent is a beautiful camping destination. Macedonia Brook State Park has great camping grounds with well marked trails and awesome views. visit the towns web site kentct.com.
