What%26#39;s up with the Gelston House, been closed for more than 1-2 years approx. Sign outside door saying renivation in progress but it;s been sitting the same way untouched. Nothing is being done. To bad thought the owner who bought the facility, from the Hartford area, which has a supposedly succesful restaurant bought the Gelston House. Was looking forward to it%26#39;s future success.

The Gelston House will be reopening sometime...soon hopefully. I believe a Manhattan restauranter has bought the establishment and is in the process of renovating and redoing it. There was a blurb in the Hartford Courant a few weeks ago about it. The restauranter has had major success in the city but was looking for something out in the country...out of the city.
Hopefully his track record will hold up....and well see a reopening soon
