Breakfast or brunch in Bridgeport?

Would someone suggest a good place for breakfast/brunch/lunch in Bridgeport? We will have time to spend before checking into hotel.

Not sure what time you are coming or what type of food you are looking for exactly but I would suggest heading to Black Rock which is a section of Bridgeport on the water.

I would recommend going to Fairfield Avenue, between Brewster Street and Grassmere Avenue. There are a number of places along here which are open for lunch.

A personal favorite of ours is called The Field. It is on the corner of fairfield avenue and Gilman Street.

If you are coming from the South, try the Red Barn in Westport.. it%26#39;s right off the Merritt.. I believe exit 41? Fairfield has some nice places as well on the Post road, off exit 21 of 95.

Bridgeport isn%26#39;t the best area, although the previous poster is right, Black Rock is the best area within Bridgeport.
