Business Trip to Hartford

Myself and three colleagues will be in Hartford on a Thursday night, and possibly a Friday night. Where should we eat? What bars are good? (We%26#39;re in our 30%26#39;s.). Thanks.

For downtown Hartford dining try Max%26#39;s or Trumbull Kitchen. For bars try the Pour House or Brickyard on Allyn St. or Vaughn%26#39;s (irish pub) on Pratt. City Steam on Main St is a brewpub with decent food. If you want to venture out of downtown check out Italian restaurants on Franklin Ave like Carbones%26#39;s or the somewhat older crowd in West Hartford Center where there are restaurants like Grant%26#39;s or Brico%26#39;s and the bar at Max%26#39;s Oyster Bar

I agree with the previous post with one exception, if you%26#39;re in your 30s you%26#39;ll feel a little old at the Brickyard. Trumbull Kitchen is fantastic. Mayor Mike%26#39;s and Max%26#39;s are also very good. If you%26#39;re in the mood for Mexican try Aguave.
