Amtrak - Penn Station NY to Hartford

Hi,

Looking at taking the Amtrak train to hartford with a 7 month old baby. Any experiences/recommendations wuld be appreciated

I believe you have to change in New Haven. Never been a problem for my teenager and she is bad with directions. Just know that the train can sometimes be late--don%26#39;t worry about the connection, I am told that is never a problem.

AGREED with the last post. You won%26#39;t have any problems. It might be a couple of minutes late but changing from one train to another can be flawless. They give you around 10 minutes to do so (enough time). Once in Hartford, there are many taxis waiting for passengers at any time of the day. You can also take the bus (which is in route) on the same street if you are traveling within the Hartford district. GOOD LUCK. :)
