Travel Nurse..looking for info about areas of New Haven.

Hello everyone..

I am looking for some information...on areas of New Haven. I have to get an apartment, out in New Haven, and I wanted to know the best areas to stay in, and also the area around the Children%26#39;s Hospital, which is 20 York St, New Haven.

Any information about New Haven would be helpful. Thank you so much.

The hospital is on the edge of downtown. The areas south and west of the hospital would not be the best choice. Consider the 9th Square area around lower Chapel St or Orange St that has many renovated places and is walkable to the hospital. Or look at the area north of downtown between Whitney Ave and State St. that has many Yale students/faculty.
