154 offers views of the river and might be more enjoyable. To get to 77 take 66, then 147 through Middlefield (Lyman Orchards) to Durham, then 17 south to 77. On 77 you%26#39;ll pass farms, Lake Quonapaug, Dudley Farm (you can tour this old North Guilford homestead) and end at the historic Guilford Green.
