I am looking for a weekend spot for a leaf peeping weekend in October that won%26#39;t require a drive of more than 4 hours from Phila. suburbs. Southern Connecticut looks to be about that distance. Any recommendations for a quaint town, a B%26amp;B recommendation, and timing for best foliage views? Thanks!

Thank you. Any particular town you could recommend for two night stay? Looking for quaint New England as much as possible. Thanks!
try new milford(in town) kent washington lake waramug
Agree with the last post, those are beautiful towns and in a great area to see the foliage. Also would include Litchfield, Bantam, New Preston. Lake Waramaug is a wonderful area. If it%26#39;s in your price range, check out the Mayflower Inn in Washington.
Or The Boulders Inn on Lake Waramaug. Great setting. Lovely little towns all around. Lots of great leaf peeping rides.
We live in the middle of all this - and will miss it when we move later this year. :%26gt;(
