Hi, my husband and I are coming from Baltimore. We are taking the train up and arriving about 1in the afternoon. Is there so much to do there or do you think two nights is enough. Thanks in advance
Is two nights enough time to spend at Foxwood
Hey there, are you renting a car? The train will probably drop you off in New London, which is about 20 miles from foxwoods. if you%26#39;re not renting a cafr and just plan on spending your time at Foxwoods, I%26#39;d say 2 days is plenty of time. I%26#39;m not a big gambler, but uf that%26#39;s your thing you should keep busy there. There are also lots of upscale shops and restaurants, shows all the time, etc.
If%26#39; you%26#39;re renting a car, you could spend one day around Mystic. There is a neat Seaport Museum there, as well as lots of shopping. I%26#39;d check out Stonington Village too, it;s a neat New England sea-side town. Also if you have a car you could swing over and heck out the Mohegan Sun, which in my opinion is more visitor friendly than Foxwoods.
Good Luck

If you don%26#39;t have a car and don%26#39;t plan on venturing outside the casino, two days is plenty. There is a lot to see and do there, but keep in mind it is all focused on gaming. There is the spa at the hotel and some very good restaurants, but not too much to do besides gamble. A visit to the Pequot Museum is a must, it is an excellent presentation.
If I was you, I would rent a car and check out Mystic and other nice places in the area. If you are coming from out of state, Mystic is definately worth spending a day at. They have great restaurants, shops, aquarium and museums. It is very pretty. There are also the Vineyards in Stonington to visit. Personally, I couldnt imagine spending all my time at Foxwoods. We go for about 4 hours and then drive the hour back home.
2 days is almost too much at Foxwoods. There is a spa and golf and the Pequot Museum (which is surprisingly excellent) and of course the casino. I greatly prefer Mohegan Sun to Foxwoods in all aspects though. Better shopping, better restaurants, better hotel, better gaming.
The 2 casinos are only about 15 minutes apart, so you could do both. As previous posters have said, Mystic is worth a trip.
Just got back from 2 nights at Foxwoods and it was enough, not much to do if you don%26#39;t want to spend all of your time gambling.
There is a pool, some shops but nothing great.
in my opinion you can get all you could possibly want out of foxwoods in a few hours-i agree with those that recommended mystic,it is a must see!
