How is it taking off from Tweed on a Dash 8? Family jitters.

My family members are a little apprehensive about going on a Dash 8 out of Tweed. Has anyone ever done it? Thanks for sharing.

How is it taking off from Tweed on a Dash 8? Family jitters.

Runway is plenty long for a Dash 8 - one could operate an RJ or even a 737 in and out of there . . .I LOVE these smaller airports - no security hassle, parking is close in and inexpensive, if the airfare is competitive, then I%26#39;d use it in a heartbeat.

The Airport has an instrument landing system for the longest runway - no problems for these airplanes . . .
