Things to do do in Hartford

Hello,

I am coming for a week or so in Hartford to vist old relatives from Italy.

Would you recommend anything? In particular nightlife.

Welcome Maurizio....There are PLENTY of bars/nightclubs in downtown Hartford for you to enjoy and they are ALL within 3 blocks from one another. Go to: http://www.hartford.com/play/nightlife.php and you will find a list of nightclubs that you might find interesting.

If you would like to venture and see some historics sites...check out the Mark Twain House and next to it you will find The Harriett Beecher Stowe house.

Pick up a copy of the free weekly Hartford Advocate from a bar or one of the street boxes. Head downtown to the Pour House on Allyn St.- there are a number of bars around that area.
