We%26#39;ll be staying at Mohegan Sun on a Saturday night in March...not that that matters!
Anyway, which is better (food %26amp; ambience)?
Rain, Tuscany or Longhouse?
Not really into Michael Jordon%26#39;s being I%26#39;ve been to the one in Grand Central way too many times!
Thanks!
Rain, Tuscany or Longhouse?
Never been to Longhouse but Rain is a very good steakhouse while Tuscany is a very good Italian restaurant. Since youre not in the mood for a steakhouse sort of thing and you might want to give Tuscany a try...it also has a great atmosphere
Rain, Tuscany or Longhouse?
Unfortunately Rain closed due to the upcoming expansion. Never got a chance to eat there. Both Longhouse and Tuscany are great restaurants, but I%26#39;d suggest Longhouse. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and waitstaff are very enjoyable as well. I like a good steak and food not too eccentric...you can check out the menus on their website.... Tuscany has a great ambiance both inside and on the patio near the waterfall. If you like to people watch as well as conversate then the patio area is good for you. IF you like things a little more secluded then I%26#39;d sit inside in Tuscany. Either choice you can%26#39;t go wrong...good luck!

Hi- I am not a lover of steakhouses. We really enjoyed Tuscany. I would advise looking online at the menus at both and then making your decision. We ate inside Tuscany - in the wine room. Lovely dinner, well presented.
Thanks all!
Well, we had originally decided to try Rain, but yup, it was closed (too bad, maybe next time).
So we ate at Tuscany instead, it was great, comparable to Todd English%26#39;s restaurant here in Manhattan but MUCH cheaper especially being that I had just one about $1k, so we considered it our ';free'; dinner. Very nice wine selection and the oyster appetizer was fantastic.
Thanks again for your suggestions!!
Oh...and we also grabbed a quick bite at the Dubliner when we arrived for lunch, not bad, not bad at all and mucho cheap!!!
Both Tuscany and Longhouse are overpriced. If you want to eat in a nice restaurant at Mohegan, Bamboo Forest is your best bet in terms of what you get for your money.
