We will be at Foxwoods with a tour in September. I have learned we will be staying at The Great Cedars. I see on the Foxwoods site that this hotel has the smallest rooms of the three. Has anyone stayed at The Cedars? If so, what are the room like. Are the really small? Is this a clean hotel? Is it smoky? Also, I was able to view a suite on their site. I%26#39;m thinking of trying to upgrade to a suite. It looks to be about $20 more a night. I would love and appreciate your comments. One more thing, are the casinos really smoky at this resort. I have read comments. Thanks to everyone for your responses.
Great Cedars Hotel at Foxwoods
The casinos at Foxwoods are VERY smokey. Even the non-smoking areas smell faintly of smoke. The Great Cedar is nice. The rooms are average. Very functional, but nothing spectacular. They%26#39;re not big by any means, but not tiny either. About the same size as a standard Holiday Inn room. The suites are slightly bigger. The hotel is clean and well maintained with great access to the casinos. The smoking rooms smell strongly of smoke, but the non-smoking rooms are fine.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
