Is LGA is closest airport to Ridgefield/Redding? I%26#39;m flying in from Toronto Canada.

and what%26#39;s the best transportation from Ridgefield to LGA? bus or train?

The Closest airport that has commerical flights to ridgefield is Westchester airport in White plains. I have flown out of there several times when the price is right. Sometimes the flight can cost $100 more but to me and the person dropping me off or picking me up, the convenince can be well worth that price difference.

Other than that LGA is the closest option.

To get from LGA to ridgefield depends on what time and how much you are willing to spend. The cheapest option would probably be the NYC city bus #M60 from lga to 125th street at the metro north station. Friends have taken this route and say that it is much better than some might think it is going to be as the bus is an express for part of the way. This trip would probably cost around 18.00 depending on what time you are going.

Other than that, I would google ';ctlimo'; to see where their drop off points are closest to where you are going. Other van services such as Red Dot are available too.
