bring your own beer/wine etc to restaurants?

So is it true that you can BYOB at Mystic ct restaurants ? or just particular restaurants or ones in a particular town? Anyone know the scoop? Going on vacation tomorrow and need to know.

this is probably too late for your trip, but may help future travelers. I only know of one place that is BYOB- Abbotts.

Rice Spice Noodle is also BYOB as is The Dock.

But I think that the original poster is confused about how BYOB works. This is not some sort of local ordinance, rather restaurants that do not have licenses to sell alcohol may allow customers to bring their own. You cannot bring a bottle of wine to S%26amp;P Oyster Co. because they sell drinks. But you can bring a bottle of wine to Abbotts because they do not and they allow BYOB.

Call the restaurant ahead of time to find out about their policy or check their website.
