Metro North to Yankee Stadium

Would appreciate info on taking Metro-North railroad to Yankee Stadium this coming Sunday. From what I can see you would take one of the hourly trains to Harlem 125th St. station and then take the %26#39;4%26#39; subway uptown to Yankee Stadium. I%26#39;m wondering about the transfer at the 125th St. Harlem station. How far do you have to walk to connect to the subway? Also, is this down inside or do you have to go outside and walk on the streets? Thanks for any help.

I would suggest a search on the NYC forum or posting your question there. I%26#39;m sure this question has been answered there before, you%26#39;ll probably get more information than you could get in CT. That forum is much more active.

I%26#39;ve done it it several times. You should park at one of the suburban rail stations such as Fairfield, as they have free parking on the weekends. You get off at 125 Street, which is an elevated platform. At the bottom of the platform, you simply have to walk a block to the subway (underground station). There is no underground connection. It%26#39;s on a busy street though, and it%26#39;s only a block. You should be able to see the subway station from the bottom of the Metro North platform. Plus, if you go any time a few hours before the game to almost the beginning, you%26#39;ll see dozens of fans doing the same thing. Just follow them.
