Was wondering if anyone knew if my children and I would be able to move with him to Groton, while he%26#39;s in %26#39;A%26#39; School? Its hard to get anyone on the phone. Thanks

When my brother was in sub school he brought his family with him. He used his allowance to rent a house off base. But that was many years ago. I don%26#39;t know what has changed.

Sure why not, there are plenty of motels hotels in the area. You could probly arange some kind of weekly rate.

Hi there, It mostly depends on which A school he will be attending, and how long it is. Generally if the school is less than about 6 months it may be an unaccompanied tour and the navy won%26#39;t pay for you to move to Groton. I am retired Navy and work on the subase. if you know which A school he is going to we could probably figure out if you%26#39;re eligible to move up here.
