Civic Center area bars

Looking for a good spot for before and after Husky hoop games. Generally like munchies/wings with a good beer selection within walking distance to the civic center. Always went to Coach%26#39;s but it has gone down hill with the new owners.

City Steam Brewery: 942 Main St. brewpub with their own beer

Black Eyed Sallies: on Asylum; good beer selection plus BBQ

Pourhouse or Brickyard on Allyn between Coach%26#39;s and Civic Center are great for beer but not much food

The Pig%26#39;s Eye has a good beer selection, though it can get crowded. Mayor Mike%26#39;s has a good beer selection in the bar and the food is actually quite good.

Pig%26#39;s Eye is above Black Eyed Sally%26#39;s, Mayor Mike%26#39;s is also on Asylum.

If you want to spend a little more head over to Joe Blacks on Pratt Street - towards the end of Pratt near Main Street in the former Society for Savings Bank Building. A great restaurant with 3 seperate bars and they even have pre and post game parties sometimes.
