Good Neighborhoods

Hey,

I%26#39;m Coast Guard and I%26#39;m getting stationed at Sector Long Island Sound, which is located on the South Eastern Bank of the bay near the airport I believe. I%26#39;m wondering what are safe and decent neighborhoods to move into that aren%26#39;t a ridiculous commute away. My commute would be at 5 AM though, so I don%26#39;t really know the traffic patterns into that area, any advice?

Good Neighborhoods

You want to be in East Haven or maybe Branford, east of the harbor and the Quinnipiac Bridge. South of I-95 would mean you could commute on local streets instead of the highway. Neighborhoods near the airport are OK. If schools are an issue you might want to try Branford, parts of which are quite close.
