Thanks for the list of restaurants. That%26#39;s quite the variety! I%26#39;ll have to make sure AI try some of them out.
I dont have much experience with hotel restaurants but as a local who has ventured down to Vivo at the Marriott (next to the convention center) I have to say that its great. Its a little expensive but the food and the staff are excellent. The restaurant is not your typical hotel restaurant, it was designed exclusivly by the Waterford Restaurant Group which is part of the Waterford Group of Waterford, CT which is one of the city%26#39;s largest downtown developers.

Hot Tomato%26#39;s at Union Place has it all. This northern Italian restaurant features its own unique pasta dishes, fish, steaks and has its own world famous garlic bread. You can have anything from a New York Strip Steak to a Grilled Atlantic Salmon to Chicken Pesto to a Chicken Salad Croissant. The restaurant features its own outdoor eating area where you can eat and look over Bushnell Park. The restaurant is a great place and is busy with the dinner crowd and keeps hopping late as night as people stroll into the bar.

There are tons of differant bars and eating areas in the wonderfully restored building. Theres the modern bar, the cottage pub, the victorian and mid-victorian dining rooms and the society room. Besides atmosphere and great nightlife scene theres also great food!!
