New Haven Pizza

I was a fan of Pepe%26#39;s for years but my last visit left me dissapointed. The pizza quality seemed sub-par. Certainly not worth waiting in line for!

I%26#39;ve never been to Sally%26#39;s but I think I%26#39;m going to have to give them a try since it looks like Pepe%26#39;s is going downhill.

New Haven Pizza

With kids, you can only eat Pizza at Chuck E Cheese ... When they grow older, may be Pizza Huts ... too bad!

New Haven Pizza

Guess you%26#39;ve never had New Haven pizza! Chuck E. Cheese is only an option for entertainment purposes not pizza! LOL Pizza Hut and Dominoes are for out-of-towners!

Come visit New Haven for some real pizza!!!

We always go to Pepe%26#39;s The Spot - in the parking lot next to Pepe%26#39;s. It has the original oven from Pepe%26#39;s and the wait in line is little to none. Everyone thinks that you *have* to go to Pepe%26#39;s to get the expereince.

We were turned off to Sally%26#39;s a long time ago and we%26#39;ll never return. They are the worst for making you wait 45 min - to an hour for your pizza after you%26#39;ve already waited a long time to get in the door. They don%26#39;t take reservations or orders for take out - unless you have an in. That%26#39;s why you end up waiting forever once you%26#39;ve ordered - all the take out orders for thier friends!

I%26#39;d give Pepe%26#39;s another shot - maybe at The Spot!

Have to go to Pizza House on Howe Street it is the best pizza I have had in my life and I have tried alot. I moved to Jersey City in 1990 and have been bringing my family and friends back to New Haven just to eat there and they are now hooked.

My pick for pizza in New Haven, have been to all...trust me...I would have to say Modern Pizza...

Pepes pizza used to be the best , Now with long lines , staff thats think their doing you a favor. its over rated, Sally s is better but allmost same situations . The spot just as good.. But in New Haven theres not to many pizzaa places that are not good.. East Haven loaded with them.. J

Alright, I know this is late, but I have to stand up for Pepe%26#39;s. I would give it another try. And kids do fine there. I have taken my 3 boys since they were very young. I started going to Pepe%26#39;s when I started nursing school at SCSU in 81 and have gone there ever since (tried Sally%26#39;s, didn%26#39;t like it)

I have heard Modern is excellent, but since I drive from Middlebury, I just can%26#39;t bring myself to go anywhere but Pepe%26#39;s once I%26#39;m in New Haven.

I would agree, in my opinion, Modern Pizza is New Haven%26#39;s best!

My boyfriend loves Sally%26#39;s - but the wait there is always too long and one time we had to wait 40 minutes for our pizza to arrive!

The ';Bar'; has the best pizza in NH

I like Modern a lot, but Bar pizza with the fresh garlic as a topic is probably my favorite. (And they make the best salad I ever had. Period.)

I will never go to Sally%26#39;s again. They were just so flat out rude to me and my girlfriend that they earned a spot on my ';banned'; list.

Pepe%26#39;s is one step away too. I don%26#39;t care how good the pie is, don%26#39;t treat me like you don%26#39;t want me there. Just plain rude.

Pizza all over New Haven is good.
