My partner and I will be staying in Wyoming, RI this coming Friday - driving up from NJ to P-Town - and I thought a visit to a casino might be nice. Any suggestions as to which one to go to?
We are not high-rollers, and enjoy mostly the slots - although I do play some craps occasionally.
Thank you!
Casinos - Foxwood vs Mohegan Sun
Foxwoods seems more spread out (wider than tall) but is closer to the RI boarder. Mohegan Sun is one tall building. You could look at their web sites and see what else is going on there this weekend concerts, etc. which may be the deal breaker.
Casinos - Foxwood vs Mohegan Sun
I am from Connecticut... I highly recommend Foxwoods. I have been many times, and the couple of times I have been to Mohegan I%26#39;ve been extremely disappointed. The layout at Foxwoods is much better... so are your chances of winning something on the slots. My fiance plays craps and is not a fan of Mohegan either. It%26#39;s fine if you%26#39;re going to see a certain show, but for some light gambling and a bite to eat there%26#39;s no place like Foxwoods!
I am a lifetime resident of Connecticut and as such frequent both casino%26#39;s, Mohegan Sun does offer some fantastic dining, and I often do well on the slots. Luck is part of it. It%26#39;s smaller in scale to Foxwoods which is the largest casino in the world at present. Foxwoods, because of its size offers more choices as far as in casino dining. It%26#39;s a huge place and offers more than slots or table gambling. There are pro%26#39;s and cons to both places. Mohegan isn%26#39;t easy to get lost in, Foxwoods is. Foxwoods customer service is less appealing in comparison. However; it does have movie theater, great dining both on the expensive and less expensive ends of the spectrum, an in house theater, museum, art galleries, it%26#39;s a one stop adventure and history lesson. Both casinos are close to one another as well and the surrounding towns offer much to do as well. Enjoy your trip and good luck at the slots/tables.
