this is my first time going to america so any advice would be great on hotels near campbell avenue west haven or anything on the area.
all advice welcome bad or good thanks
please help
West Haven doesn%26#39;t have too much that I know of, (though Swagat%26#39;s Indian restaurant is a real gem for authentic South Indian food).
There is an Econolodge off of the interstate that is clean and one of the cheapest places around. It isn%26#39;t anything special, so if you have more money and want something fancier, you can easily hop on the highway and have dozens of options.
There are good restaurants, some interesting shops and several museums in New Haven. I also recommend the free Yale tour, even though it is geared a bit towards prospective students.
You should plan to travel into New York City, which is about two hours by car or train (in case you need to go on your own).
You can also go hiking in the northwestern part of CT, visit Mystic Seaport, visit Boston, Salem, or Cape Cod in Mass or Newport in RI. Lots to do, especially if you have a car and time for some overnight trips. But the train will get you many places, too.
October is likely to be the time when leaves are turning and the weather is usually neither hot nor cold.
