Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I are planning a Sun-Tues getaway in August for the area and would like some advice.

Where should we stay - Mystic or Stonington? I%26#39;ve heard both are nice but Mystic is much more tourist-y and Stonington is more quaint and relaxing. We%26#39;re OK with both options, because we%26#39;d like to see Mystic attractions and I%26#39;d like to go to a vineyard or two.

Basically, any recommendations for a seacoast area with nice B %26amp; B%26#39;s (but not too pricey), and plenty of things to do would be greatly appreciated. We will have a car so we are not opposed to making short drives while we are in the area (we%26#39;d probably go to one of the casino%26#39;s). Thanks all!!

My husband and I stayed last year at Captain Grant%26#39;s Bed and breakfast. It was just north of Mystic, about 10 minutes from the casinos and still close for a side trip to Stonington and the vineyards. I thought it was a great location and the place was very nice. They treat you just like family. I am sorry that i cant remember the name of the little town but if you do a search, I amsure you%26#39;ll find it.

Thanks funmom2! I had looked into that B%26amp;B this week and it%26#39;s on my list. We can%26#39;t decide if we%26#39;re going to stay in Mystic or just outside of it. Thanks for the advice!
